The core of your sustainability programme is your people, but how well do they understand its goals. Is there already high awareness of the need to be environmentally responsible? Are your people ready for the change?
To understand your engagement baseline, we can construct and conduct an organisation-wide survey. This would identify not only the areas for improvement but also the successes that have been achieved so far.
We typically find that around 10% of staff will naturally want to get involved in sustainability initiatives. We focus on getting the activists to lead, so the general population understand that it is not much effort and then the followers follow.
We use focus groups and interviews to elaborate on the findings from the survey and compile recommendations on the how to run the rest of the programme.
