Business Case

Many organisations need a business case to help sell internally the benefits of changing and to provide the investment for the change programme.   We work with you to pull together the benefits – be they cost, avoidance of risk, competitive advantage and increasing staff productivity.

Some example benefits include:

  • An average UK company of 100 staff outputs 32.69 metric tonnes of CO2 and loses £6,234.70 per year due to unnecessary energy use, which is easily remedied with behaviour change.
  • If all commuters left the car at home one day a week this would save enough miles in a year to drive to the moon and back 35,000 times. This is the equivalent emissions reduction of taking over 1.7 million cars off the road and would reduce the UK’s total CO2 emissions by almost 1 per cent.
  • Provide filtered water instead of bottled water.  This cuts down on packaging going to landfill, cost and CO2 being released.
  • Switching off the lights overnight in an empty meeting room throughout the year can save 440kg CO2.
  • Use double sided copying feature – Setting double-sided copying feature as default on the copier can save 1.5t CO2 per year.
