We are delighted to announce that two equity directors have joined the business. Hywel Wilson (right in picture) and Craig Hamer (left) have been working with founder Adam Woodhall (centre) since April this year and have now formally joined the business.
Adam Woodhall explains: “Craig and Hywel bring a wealth of experience and skills to the business and it is due to this that we have been able to broaden our service range. We have already secured three new consultancy contracts, with more in the pipeline.”
Hywel Wilson
Hywel brings over ten years of experience in growing businesses. Having established the UK consultancy operation for a major conglomerate and put together multi-million pound consultancy and IT outsourcing solutions for clients, Hywel is acutely aware of how to fulfil the needs of customers.
Hywel comments: “The changing environment is becoming more and more important to all of us and it is great to be able to make a positive impact through the work of PeopleProfitPlanet. PPP has built up a great client base over the past four years and we intend on ensuring that we are the first port of call for companies wishing to adapt to the new business realities. With Adam and Craig based in Leeds and with me based in London it means that we can now more easily cater to needs of organisations across the UK.”
Craig Hamer
Craig brings a real commercial edge to the team. Recently recognised by Yorkshire Insider magazine as one of the ‘top 42 under 42’, Craig has spent over ten years at the hard end of business, helping businesses develop and define strategies to drive success through their people. A former ‘top tier’ consultant, Craig has a strong background in strategy, leadership and people performance and is recognised for his ability to quickly identify key commercial drivers in a business.
Craig is excited by his involvement in the business, and more importantly helping organisations understand how best to exploit the opportunity that the sustainability and environmental agenda presents. He comments: “Businesses are increasingly realising the need to address the sustainability agenda in their organisation, but trying to figure out where to start, and how to extract value out of their green journey is not so easy. That’s where we think a little differently – we are about taking the complexity out of that journey, and helping organisations to realise the benefits faster”.
Opportunity
The skills and experience that Hywel and Craig bring complement Adam’s focus on training and direct employee engagement. Together they are already being recognised by companies they are working with as being able to formulate progressive strategies to tackle and benefit from environmental challenges. The extra capacity will also enable Adam to focus on what he enjoys most: bringing creative solutions to clients and marketing PeopleProfitPlanet.
Adam states “It is fantastic to be working with Hywel and Craig. Craig has been a friend of Hywel’s for ten years and mine for four years and Craig introduced us nine months ago. They are a perfect complement to me and in addition to the new skills and increasing the core capacity of the business, I really enjoy working with them both.”
