About Earth Hour Yorks
Earth Hour Yorks is run by Adam Woodhall of PeopleProfitPlanet, Sam Saxby of the Better Business Environment Forum, and environmental writer and campaigner Lucy Glynn.
PeopleProfitPlanet
PeopleProfitPlanet (PPP) is a specialist carbon management, cost reduction and employee engagement training consultancy. PPP has worked with dozens of organisations and thousands of individuals. Recent high profile clients include First Direct Bank, Parcelforce, Allianz Insurance and Southeastern Railway, all of which have given excellent testimonials.
The PPP service is designed to be interactive and inspirational and this builds morale and loyalty in addition to cutting carbon, waste and cost. Using training, team building and coaching techniques to engage staff, develop policies and embed the good behaviours and organisational practices.
Adam Woodhall
Adam Woodhall set up PeopleProfitPlanet in 2006 with the direct intention of helping create positive environmental behaviour and cultural change in organisations by engaging staff and management in large and small organisations.
Adam personally walks the environmental talk. For example he is often seen in the train station or cycling around his home town of Leeds. However he never looks to impose his values on others, looking to lead by example and through the inspiration programmes of PeopleProfitPlanet.
